Description: This trail loop in South Mountains State Park offers a beautiful view of High Shoals Falls along the strenuous ascent via Chestnut Knob trail. We’ll have our first food break on Sawtooth trail at the picnic table that has the best view of the interior of the park. We'll continue going right on Horseridge trail and then on to Upper CCC trail along which we’ll have our second food break. Our return to Jacob Fork parking area will be by way of Little River trail. We’ll go on to the Big Bear Falls Trail to total 8.7 miles/1600 ft.
